I've recently discovered SIG and it really is a great looking free platform for dynamically creating image galleries. I've got a couple of issues with it though, namely the fact that you can't create alt tags for your image, which is really bad for SEO (though there seem to be hacks for that already). Another issue I've got is the fact that RSS feeds don't pick up on pictures.
What happens is that feeds just show the gallery as {gallery}"directory"{/gallery}, albeit in the correct location. Why this shows up is obvious. Less obvious, however, is how to rectify it. This issue also affects the server-side creation of PDFs, though I consider that far less critical.
Until I find fixes for these problems, I don't think I can really use SIG on my site. Since I really want to, however, hopefully somebody knows of a hack that can fix these problems.
