hey i've got simple gallery installed and working, now what i'm after is a little more complicated.

I want to make multiple instances of one gallery in an article which i know ca be done by re-writing the sytax again, BUT! I want to have each instance display a particular image of the gallery in single thumb mode.

What i'm trying to do is have one instance of the gallery displaying the first image in single thumb mode...

Then the second instance of the gallery display the second image in single thumb mode...

Can it be done or will i have to make multiple copies of the same gallery and order them differently in there?

I'm guessing all i'm asking for is if there's and "order by image name function"?
