'sort of' conflict between sig and the mod_jb_selectedcontentslider module was created by pdemaers
Hi,
I use the mod_jb_selectedcontentslider module to show some featured articles at the top of my site. This just shows some titles an when clicked the intro of the article slides out. I also have sig in a couple of articles, none of which are part of the slider module.
Now, when I open an article with a sig gallery in it, it all works, but all the articles in the slider module at the top of the page are the 'out' position with all the intros showing. Clicking the title does not make them side in again. The sig gallery works fine.
Any ideas on how to solve this apparent conflict ???
Thanks !!
Patrick

Hi,
sure. The site URL is www.cricket-vlaanderen.be.
You will see what I mean when you navigate to Jeugdwerking | Crickt op school and take the article titled 'Cricket Apotheosedag 2007'. It has a gallery in it and you will notice that the three articles in the sider at the top of the page are in the 'out' position.
Hope this helps, thanks for you time,
Patrick

You are probably refering to Sipme Image Rotator and not Simple Image Gallery. However I cannot understand the problem. SIR works fine...

Hi,
yes, i also have Simple Image rotator on the page. That works fine. No problem there.
Navigate to the article with title 'Cricket Apotheosedag 2007' which you find when you click on menu item 'Jeugdwerking' and then submenu item 'Cricket op school'. In the article I use SIG and it makes the list of articles at the top of the page (next to the image rotator) all 'slide out' (-> show title and body, instead of only the title).
Hope this clariefies things. If not, don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers,
Patrick

Did you try to disable plugins one by one so as to be sure what cause the conflict with Simple Image Gallery?

Hi,
I haven't tried you latest suggestion yet, but if you want to see what I mean, it is now very easy. Go to the site www.cricket-vlaanderen.be and click on the frontpage on the first article titled 'BCF / Cricket Vlaanderen 2009 prijzengala' which has a SIG inside. You will notice that the three articles in the slider at the top will all display their title and content, instead of just the title like it should be.
Does this help ?
Cheers,
Patrick

Hi,
I don't undertand why you moved this thread to the SIR forum. I use both SIR and SIG on my site an do not have any issues with SIR, it works perfectly well, also it does not impact the content slider module. SIG is the one causing the problem with the slider module at the top of the page.
Cheers,
Patrick
