Special characters not showing properly was created by Mike Berg

My Simple RSS reader is not showing some special characters properly. Is there any way to ignore these characters? It sure makes my home page look unprofessional...

I tried this method and my gibberish characters were replaced with question marks. This is still not the right character. I am trying to get quoatation marks to appear correctly. Like these: " ' `

What rss feeder are you using? DS syndicate?
