ok got it need to edit mod_jw_srfr.css

ul.srfr {margin:4px 2px;padding:0;list-style:square;background:none;}
ul.srfr li {margin:4px 0;padding:2px 4px;border-bottom:1px dotted #ccc;list-style:none;clear:both;background:#00000;}
ul.srfr li:hover {margin:4px 0;padding:2px 4px;border-bottom:1px dotted #ccc;list-style:none;clear:both;background:#00000;}

The last 2. just change the 000000 to what ever color you want. the last on is a hover color, so when your mouse hovers over it choose what color you'd like if any.
