Hi, I was hoping you could please help me. I'm trying to get a feed to show on my joomla site (Simple RSS Feed Reader v3.3, Joomla! 3.3.6), but the feed is not being shown. Instead, I am getting the following error:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$feedItems in /websites/pe/petervitale.com.au/modules/mod_jw_srfr/helper.php on line 42
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /websites/pe/petervitale.com.au/modules/mod_jw_srfr/helper.php on line 42

You can view the page and error here:
petervitale.com.au/as-quoted-in

The full RSS path is:
www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=rss20&id=155522377812682

Any ideas of what is happening?

Hi,

Ensure that you have entered the feed URL correctly in the module settings.

Hello, yes I have done this. What else might be the cause?

Can you try with a different feed?

I tried a different rss feed, but got the same results. White screen of death. Same error code as Megan.

Also my navigation links (only) stopped being clickable. I unpublished the module and the nav worked again.

@Gregory Ledger

A white screen of death is something different. Set error reporting to maximum to see the actual error message.

My error reporting is set to Maximum, this is the only error I get back:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$feedItems in /websites/pe/petervitale.com.au/modules/mod_jw_srfr/helper.php on line 42

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /websites/pe/petervitale.com.au/modules/mod_jw_srfr/helper.php on line 42

Another feed I have tried works, but not the one that I need to show.
The feed I need to show is:
www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=rss20&id=155522377812682

Hi,

It looks like the PHP parser cannot parse this XML. I get the following error when using your feed :
simplexml_load_string(): Entity: line 1: parser error : xmlParseEntityRef: no name. The reason is that the feed is invalid. You can try to validate it at validator.w3.org/feed/ .
