Error: strftime() is deprecated - are there a newer version

Error: strftime() is deprecated - are there a newer version was created by Simon Adrian
I get this error in Joomla 5.4 (php 8.4): 
Deprecated: Function strftime() is deprecated since 8.1, use IntlDateFormatter::format() instead

Is there a newer version, where strftime has been replaced by IntlDateFormatter - and if so can you send it to me at:  sa at 24net7 dot com
