I also renamed the topic and added it in a new "Translations" category here in the forum so other users can contribute their translations.
I would recommend that you just add a new reply in this thread whenever you wish to update the translation.

Download and extract the zip file. Then upload all language files to /administrator/language/de-DE/ and you're done. :)
