Hi!

I have already installed the latest allvideos plugin on my joomla 3.2.1 plateform. When I enter a Youtube ID, I receive a {* youtube}Youtube ID{* /youtube} tag instead of {youtube}Youtube ID{/youtube} and no video in my item.

Since then I have checked the Custom HTML and enable Prepare Content in the basic options as you always mention but no video at all.

Please, I need your kind support...

Is it working in articles or it completely non-functional?

I confirm the allvideos plugin non-functional at all even in K2 articles. I think because of the (*) sign within the tag. How can I manage to remove it?

The * sign is probably generated from another content plugin.
Which other plugins are you using?

These are either core or widely used:

keeba Subscriptions Link, Akeeba Subscriptions restricted, Akeeba Subscriptions Timed Release, Joomla, Smart Search, Allvideos, Email Clocking, Pagebreak, Page Navigation

I doubt any of them is creating issues.

It could be a system plugin. You have to disable/enable plugins to find which is causing this? Also are you using tinyMCE? Have you edited your editor's settings?

1 - The disable/enable method gives the same result with the remaining content plugins.

2 - I use TinyMCE editor with the default settings. What can I do specifically with editor plugin settings?

I don't think tinyMCE will produce such an error.
I have used that editor in countless sites with no issue.

This is a plugin which automatically adds the * symbol and breaks the snippet's syntax.
