When you say a lot? This is an extra caching layer of K2 ensuring that your site will load fast even in poor resources servers. You can always clean this by clearing the Joomla! cache. Also if you have APC installed on your server you can set the Joomla! caching handler to "APC" .

This is a huge number for 10 days. Unless your site is the most popular Joomla! site in world. What are your cache settings? You can purge automatically the expired cache. Read the official Joomla documentation at docs.joomla.org/Purging_expired_cache_files.

I set on the cron job the lynx -source "www.XXXX.com/cli/garbagecron.php" > /dev/null but it doesn't clean the cache.
Can you help me please?
