Extra Field with TinyMCE was created by Pierre-Emmanuel DUBREUIL

Hello

I get a Javascript error when I want to have extra fields with rich editor:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'plg_editor_tinymce' of undefined
    at HTMLTextAreaElement.<anonymous> (k2.backend.js?v=2.9.0&sitepath=/:1149)

I am using the last version of K2.

Any idea?

It looks like the editor is not properly loaded. Did you make sure the relevant plugins for TinyMCE are actually published? It would also help if you could tell me what Joomla version you're using...

Yes, the plugin looks to be well activated.
And it works for the main text content of the K2 element. I meet this issue only for extrafields.
Our Joomla version is 3.6.5

About our environment:

Database Version 5.5.5-10.0.32-MariaDB-0+deb8u1
PHP Version 5.6.33-0+deb8u1
Web Server nginx/1.6.2
WebServer to PHP Interface fpm-fcgi
Joomla! Version Joomla! 3.6.5 Stable [ Noether ] 1-December-2016 22:46 GMT
Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 13.1.0 Stable [ Curiosity ] 24-Apr-2013 00:00 GMT

Any particular reason you're not using Joomla 3.8.x or 3.9.x? Cause K2 v2.9.0 was not tested with Joomla 3.6.x...

OK... The update of Joomla version would require to check the behavior of all the plugins, which may be a big work !
So you think that is why we have TinyMCE working correctly in "Content" tab but not working in "Extra fields" tab?

It's a bug in TinyMCE. Your Joomla version was released in 2016. The bug was fixed in 2017 >> github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/12561

Alternatively, install JCE or use another editor and K2 will automatically switch to using NicEdit for these fields.

No matter the installed editor, the issue is the same.
We will work on this update of Joomla.
