RSS feeds returns error was created by Vladimir Penzin
hi,
K2 2.9.1 Joomla 3.9.5 got error when tried to enable rss channel on site
Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Document\FeedDocument::addCustomTag()
In K2 settings tried to turn on show link and icon but can't make it work
the link I use: https://my_site/component/k2/itemlist?format=feed&type=rss

Switch to page source view in the browser and grab the entire error message as I need the file and exact line. It may not necessarily be K2, but a 3rd party plugin that does not properly check for the document type ("feed" in this case)...

Thanks Fotis that was it...
Turned on Debug and saw the "System - Custom Canonical" was the plugin called prior to this error.
we end up with different versions of URLs any recommendations on a good canonical extension for K2 items/blogs?

K2 has built-in support for canonical URLs (and much more). Make sure you're using the latest 2.10.2 release and then enable canonical URLs in the K2 Settings, under the "SEO" tab.
