Ok I Will try to reinstall these extensions. What about the menu voices thar disappear? They were all K2 article link menu voices thar disappear (and not presence in database) after K2 upgrade.

I have checked your topics for the problems I have having with the upgrade to K2.

Joomla Version 3.6.5 Dev 2016.

Last weekend I upgraded my site with K2 for use with the RAXO modules.

I carried out the following:-

1. Imported all existing Joomla content to K2
2. All contract could be seen on the K2 schedule page
3. When I clicked on a title it would not open and I received an error message "Error decoding JSON data Syntax error.
4. Found on your site a fix to change the
Step 1: Edit "(JOOMLA_PATH)/libraries/vendor/joomla/registry/src/Registry.php"
Step 2:
In line 366 replace:
$obj = $handler->stringToObject($data, $options);
to
$obj_count = json_decode($data);
if(count($obj_count) > 0) {
$obj = $handler->stringToObject($data, $options);
} else {
$obj = $obj_count;
}


5. This allowed me to have access to the content, however I could then not open up any of the extension modules for my site.

6. The system then became unstable and I had to restore it from a system backup.

I like you product and think K2 makes Joomla so much better. Can you please help.

The k2 is 2.5.5. for now i will stick with joomla 1.5 and when i find time i will upgrade it. I can't find any other problems and the front works just fine. The back-end as well. The only issue i find is when i am trying to save articles. Yes i have k2 plugins install but it is just to show the articles in the front. It was working fine few days ago.

I disabled the plugins but the same issue exist.

First of all, it is highly recommended to upgrade to the latest Joomla 3 version.
Then, which K2 version have this issue?
Do you have any K2 plugins installed?
Do you find any javascript issues/errors?

The line 587 is quite different.

Make sure to clear both Joomla!'s and your browser's cache.

Done some more testing. This jQuery error only appears in K2.

Am I the only one using frontend editing?

We have updated
K2 to 2.7.1,
Joomla to 3.6.5,
JA T3v3 2.6.3 with JA University t3 template,
Contact Enhanced 3.6.5 and
CB 2.1.2.

Frontend editing in K2 is broken.
We have tried numerous settings of jQuery but nothing helps.
Rither the modal window does not show and the Save/Close buttons don´t react,
or modal window shows but Save closes without saving and opens Home page in modal, and Close don´t work, at all.

We have tried using Beez5 template, so I think we can exclude JA.
We also tested the K2 overrides provided by JA in University template. Don´t work.

Today I installed a module named " JO K2 Slideshow " , when I visit the backend settings of that module, I saw following error message at Joomla backend:

There is no filename and line number, just this single line of error message. So I have no idea what is wrong.

My Joomla version is v3.6.5, K2 version is v2.7.2 dev, both are upgraded from old lower versions.

Still trying to resolve this. I have upgraded the site to J3.6 and reinstalled K2 and now I get the error in the linked file here: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/647279/2017-02-08_11-04-33.jpg - I really need to find out what this problem is and how to fix it so any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. Do you provide paid support ? If that would expedite resolution I would be happy to pay (a reasonable :)) amount to get this resolved.

Well, 2 years or so ago I first got K2 working on my Joomla website and all has been fine (once I sorted out layout etc with help from you guys!)

In my laziness, I have not written any new posts since about September.

In doing one today, I find the editor is not as it should be... I can't change font style/ size/ colour. many of the editor boxes are greyed out. I have the option to go into code although I have never had to before and even that didn't work so well.

Not sure what has happened. I think I was using JCE editor. It might just be a setting issue. I did have a developer in it the other day (well the Joomla website part) because I had a bad hack attack :( so he may have done something but thought I'd ask here as you may know something else.

ALSO! I am on Joomla 2.5.28 and I cannot update to 3.x because of some extensions and I am in the throes of getting a new website designed and built. My K2 version is 2.6.7. Should I upgrade K2 to latest and will it work in old joomla or should I leave it as it is for now?

Do need the editor to work though - useless at the moment!

Having a bit of an odd issue with AllVideos.

If I upload my mp3 files to images/audio via FTP, then use the 'browse server' button in the media tab to add them to the item, the audio player does not load at all - no errors, it's not present in the source.

If I upload via the upload button, then the file appears to upload and save without error and the player appears on the frontend, but fails to play because the audio file that is created from this process doesn't exist - e.g. it's supposed to create a file with the itemID and extension .mp3, but that file is not present in images/audio and creates an error on the frontend.

My permissions on the existing mp3 files are 644, folder 755.

V4.7 had a different issue, so I upgraded to 4.8DEV to fix another problem.

I'm on 2.7.1 of K2, 3.6.5 of Joomla.

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually I started getting this message after enabling Google Analytics.

I'm running Joomla 3.6.4 and K2 2.7.0.

Will that patch resolve the issue for me so that I can re-enable Google Analytics?

Yeah if I use K2 2.7.0 it solves the problem for me, but if I upgrade it comes right back. :(

Using K2 2.71 w/ J3.65.

All attachments return 404 error:

attachments are there, I tried setting attachments folder, copying attachments to another folder and pointing to that one and leaving the parameter blank.
a direct link to the 1st attachment on the page above works nvcacademy.net/media/k2/attachments/EB_Calling_a_Pause_0001.pdf

From back end, downloading file returns this error: File does not exist

what is this value: 9437645427bfa2d864bdb952ded656ac and where is it stored? I can't find it anywhere in the db or in a file.
