I have introtext set at 150 words and stripping set to exclude p.em and a href. It was working fine a week ago, but now isn't and I haven't changed anything, except upgraded to Joomla 3.5.1.

Fulltext has stripping turned off, yet it was stripping hyperlinks out. I added a href to INTROTEXT and now K2 happily displays links in the fulltext. Makes no sense.

Tried to add an image showing my settings but Add File doesn't work. Settings are:

Introtext HTML Cleanup - Yes
HTML tags NOT to strip: p.em.a href
HTML tags TO BE stripped - <empty>
Fulltext HTML cleanup - No
Both next fields are empty.

One question: Once I bought the plugin and installed it, will I be able to keep all my already built SEF-URLS on "old" k2 items + simply continue to have SEF ULRS for new k2 itmes?

If not, what are the steps to upgrade or downgrade as smooth as possible?


BTW: I can fully understand your decision to have a paid plugin. What I cannot understand is the rather cryptic announcement and no documentation.

I am experiencing the same problem. I can't save new items or existing items after the upgrade, I get the same error as Joseph's screenshot.

I tried making the changes in the CSS patch Krikor linked to, but still got the error. Then I downloaded the master Jeff linked to and used the new k2.css file from that, but still got the same error.

I cleared the site cache in between. Is there another step I am missing?

As a workaround I changed the extra fields to not be required and I was able to save items, but the error message is still not working correctly on my installation.

You are not the only one.

They are huge indeed and this is the reason why I haven't upgraded my websites to 2.7 yet.

Hope this UI issue is going to be fixed in the next release.

i try to modify text (bold, color, add text) and after SAVE
nothing happen

i can't save any changes or adding i do, or better.. i made changes, i SAVE but doesn't save...

can't understand if is Editor, K2 or some plug in or what i dcan do for test

Before upgrade i worked well with same Template, component and Editor
if i change the editor ...some works better, some works bad

Well, after upgrade i have these problems:
i can't save text area extra fields, i have to use another editor

fields are not more alligned (se image uploaded)

font in the k2 article (but not in the extra fields) are bold and different

do you know what i can do or check?

I just upgraded to 2.7, and wow... everything is huge, I'm feeling like I'm in "Visual impairment" mode.
On my FullHD monitor everything is gigantic, toolbars and filters wrap on two lines etc...

Anyone here NOT using a 4K monitor, having problem with this ?

In case clearing your cache doesn't solve the issue, it could be a bug related to "Additional Categories" and K2 v2.7.0. The simplest thing to do is just install K2 v2.6.9 on top of 2.7.0. It would also help if you could report any JS issues appearing in your browser's dev tools console.

Try completely clearing your browser cache and history.
I have had this exact same problem on one of my sites. My browser was caching the old K2 version. The fix above worked for me.

I think I may have made a mistake upgrading one of my sites to 2.7.0 because I was using an Additional Categories plugin. Right now we have completely lost the ability to save anything in K2. I am thinking that I might need to roll back to web site to before the upgrade. Any advice?

Can you temporarily upgrade all K2 related modules.
I recall you where using some sliders and similar content modules.

I cannot now upload an Image to an item in either the administrator or Front-end editor of my site.

I go to add an image via the image tab and click save - it says it has saved but it has not.

When I go back to to the item image tab the image field is always blank.

The site worked fine before can you suggest a fix?

I think you will break it.
Actually this issue belongs to Joomla!'s forums since it is not related to K2.

So I missed in the release notes the fact that SH404SEF support was going away until a new plugin came out to provide the same friendly URL functions I had with SH404SEf and K2 2.6. So I upgraded to 2.7 and blew away my friendly URLs. Then I attempted to recreate the URL structure, which was impossible because of the neat functions that SH404SEF provides such as to include the last two categories. The only solution then was to roll back the site, or don't add any new items in K2 or to at least code them manually in SH404SEF. This was frustrating to say the least. The end result was that after a week of waiting for the new extension I decided to move away from K2. I'm trying to be nice as as write this, and I wonder what others did with production sites that weren't carefully staged. Kudos to Joomlart and their K2 import tool which saved the day, but in the end the whole thing has been very frustrating. What's worse is that I had ten zillion leftover URL's that had to be taken out of SH404SEF through SQL queries. I'm sorry this happened and will much more careful next time, I have good backups but don't stage that particular web site. I just needed to post my frustration.

It happens when I hit the 'new item' button to create a new article. At the moment, a list of all the articles in the items home page on K2 have all disappeared. It happened when I upgraded.

The order of the scripts is not correct.
JQuery is being loaded at the end (I assume from the template) which is not correct.
Remove that instance and enable K2's jQuery loading.

Yes it can indeed be seen, and is much prettier than the old one - but it no longer works.

On the existing site when you click the font resizer, it adds "largerFontSize" to the div class itemFullText.

After the upgrade, this no longer happens.
