Can you paste the exact error? You might need to enable error reporting to see the actual issue.

Hi,

suddenly my english contact form has the URL www.feng-shui-flow.com/en/k2-media-manager/contact.
Thus all links to the correct URL without /k2.media.manager/ create 404 errors.

I am not using any Seo extensions or sitemap creators
Just upgraded to Joomla 3.5, the issue was there before.
K2 2.6.9


Hoping for any useful ideas.

I'm definitely no expert but it just looks like the standard required fields error.

Put a dummy entry into all your fields and see if it accepts it. If so, you'll need to go into the extra fields in K2 admin and toggle the fields from being required to not.


Anyone any ideas about this 500 Internal Server Error post-2.7.0-upgrade issue? Anyone having it come up in their server logs? It's likely a simple permissions error but with no log I can't fix it.

I also have some 3000 items (on just one site alone), and hundreds of items on some others. I rushed and upgraded most of them (initially I overlooked lack of SH404SEF integration and everything else seemed fine).

I have two questions:

1. I used 'all categories' prefix option ie: news/sports/ . Would that be possible with the excpeting sh404SEF plugin? And, will it be out any time soon? I will need to review my sh404SEF tables on some sites as they now contain 2-3 differently constructed links for some items.
2. what about downgrading to 2.6.9. now when 2.7 is already installed? Is it an option?

And one notice - Using current 2.7 'Advanced SEF settings, I can't turn off 'use category ID'.. I turn it off - but it still comes up. Something wrong?

I am happy to see K2 moving forward and I don't mind paying for some plugins. But I don't want to lose functionalities - I need 'backward compatibility'.

This error happens when i add a new item or update one (also without changes, only "save").

The code has

After upgrading joomla to 3.5 (by ftp uploads) and updating to the latest K2 version (from site backend with joomla update manager) the when i trye to open media manager in frondend and in backend I got the follwing error :

Invalid backend configuration.
Readable volumes not available.

Having upgraded to K2 2.7.0, I am encountering a 500 Internal Error which doesn't seem to appear in my error logs.

Is there any way I can track this down? Is there a K2 error log? Or has anyone else experienced this?

You can see the error in action by viewing any page from within K2 on my site, such as:

Other components, like JEvents, are working fine.

Hello. I'm getting the following error after save the item:

23000 SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '0-536' for key 'PRIMARY'

I'm not sure if this began after made the update to Joomla 3.5 or k2 7.

After migration from J2.5 to J3 I get this error:

Ok so you have narrowed it down.
Since it is working as expected in another site, it means that K2 is not the issue here. The issue most likely a 3rd party extension, quite possibly a K2 plugin not playing well with 2.7.

Hi guys.....I upgraded to 2.70 from 2.69 and all fine except for one thing.

When you go into the Joomla admin (3.50) and open an individual item then the view is completed distorted......see it here:



All other admin parts are fine......it's only in the item view.

I've reinstalled K2 again in case something was missed, but no difference. Any ideas?

After i upgraded to Joomla 3.5 i am unable to delete existing slides. I can only add.

Secondly, The links on frontpage slideshow all redirect to homepage. All slides are k2 items.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension but the problem persits. How do i fix this? see image

Ive upgraded to joomla 3.5 and K2 v2.7.0 tonight and have found my self stuck being unable to use the one plugin my website always uses....

On the backend / admin centre i can no longer add gallery's.... I can only hard code / type in the location for the gallerys because the box that pops up isn't working:

I have made an succesful upgrade to K2 V2.7.0 and all went well.

When and where can I find the plugin for SH404SEF? At this moment new items get the wrong URL!

Let me know if you spot anything out of the usual.

I updated my site, the day v2.7 came out, which contains multiple K2 template overrides, custom modules depending on K2 and over 15,000 articles with no problems at all. Until today everything is working as expected.

Keep up the good work JoomlaWorks people!

I just upgraded to Joomla 3.5 and everything is normal on the front-end but I do get an error message back-end when I link a menu item to a k2 article and in k2 parameters Layout & View tab is see this:

They claim K2 2.7.0 is compatible with Joomla 3.5. So update to that first then see what happens. If it's still an issue, report a bug to their team. Long and short, JFormField::render() is a new method in Joomla 3.5 and uses a different method signature than K2's render method which PHP will warn about. Strict errors won't keep things from working completely, but depending on context, could possibly cause unintended behavior.

I did as he advised. I updated to k2 2.7.0 but the problem is still there.
What needs to be done to fix this or should I just live with it until the next update?
