Bien,

jugando un poco con lo básico, encontré la solución. Consiste en incluir por cada video que se quiera agregar al article text el juego de tags {youtube} {/youtube} de modo que cada video quede incluido, mismos tags que provee Allvideos así:

texto del articulo blablablablablabla..

{youtube}videoID1 {/youtube}

Más texto de artículo blablablabla

{youtube}videoID2 {/youtube}

{youtube}videoID3 {/youtube}

...

Fin de artículo.

Espero sea de utilidad para alguien más que tenga la misma inquietud.

I took a slightly different route in the end, using the first word of the . For anyone else interested in doing this, just add:

  I am using Joomla 3.2.3
 
 I have rename and i am using .htaccess with success!
 
 The problem is that all URLs that correspond to menu items of k2 tag listings in my secondary language does not seem to work properly.
 
 More specifically if i access menu_item_russian_1 (tag1_RU, template1_RU) the content as also the template is loaded FINE!
 
 Subsequently if i access menu_item_russian_2 (tag2_RU, template2_RU) the content which is loaded is the one corresponding to menu_item_russian_1 ...
 
 If i switch OFF SEF urls, everything works fine!
 
 If you would like i could pm you my site URL/backend access because this seems to be a bug maybee?

Which Joomla! version are you using? Make sure that you renamed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess before you enable URL rewrites.

Hi, I'm a new K2 user

I'm trying to create my site (www.pragmabyte.net/neo), I'm trying to limit number of words/characters in title and intro text from my display articles, but I don't find the way to do that. In the K2 component parameters doesn't appear somethink in refference to Categories layour & view (I see user layout & view, tag layout & view, but nothing about Categories). Help me please!

Well, I'm not a programmer. So fixing those errors is nothing for me. I don't even understand the error messages.

I think for us it is the end of using K2.

Hello again!

unfortunately i can not get my tag listings to get dispayed correctly even if i use different Tags for each language!

If i de-active SEF (mod_rewrite) URLs, tag listings (different tags + templates) are displayed correctly in my secondary language BUT if i try to turn on SEF urls then the problem described in my initial post persists!

Any ideas on how to fix this?

K2 tools - K2 tags cloud... when I click on someone tag it opens it opens K2 items desired on that tag, but it opens WHOLE items, not only introtext like in category view.. (which I wants to look like).

Read more buuton below any item doesn't make sense 'cause it already shows full article (except comments and similiar)

Any help?

  Hi. There is a reason why this is not implemented in K2. The reason is performance. The only thing you can do is add it on your own by making an override to items list template. Of course this requires programming knowledge.

Hi. You need to create a menu link to a user or a tag to have a different template. Again, the restriction is only applied to K2 user menu links.

Hi. No you cannot do this. The only thing you can do with K2 out of the box is a menu link to a K2 tag with results of specific categories only.

You should place this in tag.php inside the foreach loop and before you echo the fulltext variable. It should work for content plugins.

Hello,

Does anyone know how to modify admin views to add a column with tags of each items in elements view ?
It's a missing feature that could allow to see really fast what tags is associated to element instead of opening each element one by one.

Maybe there is a K2 plugin for this?
Or somebody did it via some core file modification?

Hallo,

leider habe ich bisher keine Lösung für mein Problem gefunden. Damit ich das Bewertungssystem bei Google "taggen" kann, benötige ich die durchschnittliche "Sternebewertung". Ohne K2 nutzte ich ein Modul was diesen Wert angezeigt hat. Mit K2 finde ich leider keine Option, um diese Anzeige zu aktivieren.

Hier nochmal sinnbildlich, was ich meine: ***** 4,5/5 (10 Stimmen)

Ich hoffe ihr habt eine Idee...

Hello,

How can i acces the author variable in the tag template ? I tried this:

Hello,

So i got my basic blog page, a component showing articles from 1 k2 category. But whenever a tag or a user is clicked, it doesn't use the tag.php or user.php of the corresponding custom k2 template, but instead, uses the "default" template files.

why is this ? when clicking on one of the items, it does use my custom item.php of the corresponding template. why doesn't it do the same for tag and user?

Also, for the user page, it does not inherit the category restriction either, meaning that is shows not only articles from the blog, but also from other categories, which is not what i want.

:( Hi,

We run K2 on Joomla 2.5.

All content relies on K2 and we use K2 tags to provide dynamic sorting to end user.

Any K2 category deals with different content, so the relevant tags are specific to each category.

Is there any possibility to manage Category' Tags, so for each category only relevant tags will be available?
