Im just wondering if anybody here can help me customize the tag pages?

At the moment the images arent cropped, and are too big. Is it possible to make it like a thumbnail?

I would also like to limit the intro text but cant seem to figure out where I can edit the settings for the Tag pages. Id also like to see the editors rating.

I dont seem to have a k2 search module either. Is this normal? I havnt seen what the search results look like but I want it to look the same as a k2 display page.

I am hoping I'm just missing something, but we're trying to use the extra field csv import function to generate a schedule. The problem is, it's bringing the entire csv file into a single row and just wrapping it. I can style it with CSS, but I can't fix the issue of no row tags existing (except the single, original row), so it's completely unusable.

Is this just the way it is, or is there a way to set the csv file so it parses into rows? It looks fine in Excel, and it opens in my text editor as multiple lines, but not in the K2 import/upload.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think editing core files is the best approach here. You can add a simple JS script like this -> jsfiddle.net/stodolaj/De8Ku/ which will continue to work after you have updated K2 (no need for repatching).

This has to do with your template. It has set a width:92%; to the img property of these

You will have to remove that and it will work.

I'm afraid that this happens because there is a conflict in the backend that doesn't exist in the frontend.

I'm having the same problem (free and selection based tagging). However I noticed something I want to share because it might be helpful - it works in modal windows, so when you enter an article/item on your front page, it works as expected.

I'm afraid that this cannot be done without tampering with the K2 core files.

Buenas a todos, tengo un problema a la hora de subir un archivo zip desde el fronted de joomla 2.5 en k2, todo funciona bien menos cuando intento subir una galeria que me aparece el siguiente error.

There was a problem rendering your image gallery. Please make sure that the folder you are using in the Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin tags exists and contains valid image files. The plugin could not locate the folder: media/k2/galleries/285

No se si alguien me puede ayudar a solucionarlo.

OK. Since you have menu items for all your tags just open each one and through the Page Display Options enable the Show Page Heading and add a page title if you want it to be different.

I tried option 2 but that only gets rid of the "Displaying items by..."

Now what appears is just the tag name.

I'd like to make it the actual page title name.

What is weird is that I do have menus created for all of these tags. Do I need to set a menu title somehow?

I will try option #2 to see where it gets me.

I went to the global config for k2 - content then selected the Introtext HTML cleanup (tag strip) NO then refreshed the page still no change .. is there something else i missed???

I'm afraid that this is the generic pretext for the tag pages title. If you do not have a menu item linking to then in order to fetch its title, it generates this one.

You have 3 options to solve this

1) To create menu items for all your tags.
2) The "Displaying items by tag:" comes through a language string. You can locate it in the K2 language file (K2_DISPLAYING_ITEMS_BY_TAG) and erase its definition.
3) You can modify the core K2 file components/com_k2/views/itemlist/view.html.php

My recommendation is No 2. It's the safest and easiest solution ;)

I have searched and searched the forms by cannot seem to find an answer.

I have noticed that one of my Open Graph properties is not rendering correctly. This is what I am seeing:

<meta property="og:type" content="website" />

<title>1970's TV Shows - Best of 70's TV @ The Classic TV Database</title>

I would like for the real title of the page "1970's TV Shows - Best of 70's TV @ The Classic TV Database" be shown instead of "Displaying items by tag:...".

This happens for all of my "tag pages". It will say say "Displaying items by tag:..."

I have the real title being set in sh404sef. I have Open Graph rendering turned off in sh404sef.

Is there a way to correct this issue?

This one is a real pain. It caught me.
However with a bit of perseverance, (yes more K2 perseverance!) I think I have sorted it.

Rigorous file names! NO SPACES, No funny characters including &. Under slash is OK. Not too long.
If you can see the filed and it still fails to tag, then use the media manager to download (make a change) and then re upload.

I had to re-name over 400 files! There were still a few with orphan spaces.

Lost a few hairs, torn out in exasperation but I think all is now well. :)
