No, I'm afraid this cannot be made manually. It requires some coding before you can just add the icon you want for each case.

Of course you can do this. You just have to modify the appropriate listing or K2 content module within their overrides, read here on how overrides work getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174-templating-with-k2-and-the-concepts-of-sub-templates
and include a check for the above needs, video, image or gallery. You cannot have different notification for sound files since both video and sound are loaded through the same K2 section, Media.

You should advice your template provider/developer in order to help you achieve this.

I was just wondering in K2 if we can add a Video or Image or Sound label to an item to notify visitors on the homepage that this article contains some video, image or sound.

I'm unable yet to write a plugin (it has no sense anyway) but i would like to share these improvements ...
- itemRelated by tags list with count and relevant (itemlist.php)
- harmonization of displays (category.php, item.php, category_item.php)
- bug (i think) in language files fr-FR_comk2.ini or gb-GB for the date template (for example %d %B %Y instead of 'd F Y' and some typing rules not right

First let me say hello to all. These forums are great. The collective knowledge is astounding. I am fairly new to K2 as it came with the template I bought, but I know joomla. And I am growing to love K2, but a few issues annoy me.
I am creating my menus with different items with some being listed under different categories. The problem I am having is that I able to create my page, but then under what I create KS drops a lot of the sites other content into the page which is totally unwanted. I have one page that seems to work well, but when I copy the traits from that category it still doesn't seem to work. I have looked through a ton of posts but did not find a direct answer to my problem. I am learning quickly but I would like to get this section done so that I may proceed with my site.

For instance : this page should have no content at all, but yet it is pulling content from all over the site.

Also is there a simple way to adjust the menu font to a larger size? This is something I haven't spent time looking into yet I just thought I would ask.

I started a thread on this because I did not see yours first but I am having the exact same Issue. However free based tagging is working for me. Is there any time frame on when the selection based tagging is going to be fixed in joomla 3.2?

Nothing loads when I enter an existing tag into the TAG Input Box. With Firebox, the following error is reported: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'safari' of undefined coming from jquery-ui-min.js

That's strange. Free tagging doesn't have any issues either in 3.1.5 or 3.2. When you type to use an existing tag does it load right under the field? Have you noticed if your page has any javascript errors?

Thank you for the quick response, and insight. I'll quite trying to get the TAG select to work until a new version of K2 is released. Unfortunately, the Free tagging (with auto complete) doesn't work for me either. With Free tagging enabled, I get a blank box for entering TAGs, When I enter a known tag, I don't get any sort of auto complete, and when I press return/enter, I get a calendar popup. When I try to save, with a known tag entered into the TAG input box, the TAG is not saved with the K2 item.

There seems to be an issue with this tagging method for Joomla! 3.1.5 and Joomla! 3.2.

I dont have tags on any of my sites right now, so I cant say how to do it exactly.

But table you need is

xxxx_k2_tags
or
xxxx_k2_tags_xref

Just dig there. Add some tags manually via administrator panel, and check changes in this tables. After that you'll have your algorithm

Can you specify what table am i looking for? joomla 2.5 I am not familiar with the process do i use import ?

When entering a K2 item, the TAG Selection shows a list of TAGs on the left, and a blank box for Selected TAGs on the right. Between them is an option to ADD of REMOVE the selected TAGs, but it's not working. With one of more of the Available TAGs on the left side selected, nothing happens when ADD is clicked, so it's impossible to associated a TAG with the item. Using Freeform doesn't work either. This problem is happening with K2, ver 2.67. running Joomla 3,1.5

nous avons vraiment besoin d'aide car nous avons un gros problème.
Nous avions fini par installer la version 2.6.7 avec FTP (installation sur une version 2.6.6) car nous avions une erreur -1 avec la backend de Joomla.
Nous pensions que tout était OK mais ce n'est pas le cas.

Dans les modules K2 Tools et K2 Content, nous ne voyons plus les données de paramétrage comme le suffixe. Toute la partie de l'administration de ces deux modules ont disparu. Nous ne pouvons plus créer ni modifier des modules existants.
Nous avons essayé d'installar la version 2.6.7 mais nous avons toujours l'erreur -1.

Comment pouvons-nous faire pour récupérer le paramétrage des modules de K2?
Nous sommes bien ennuyés.

Nous avons peu de tenter une désinstallation car nous allons perdre les modules existants et peut être des données comme les tags, les catégories. Bref, nous sommes un peu perdus.
