i use k2 in my website and in my website the registered users have frontend editing permission...

in frontend editing i disable all the editors except none editors , it means my clients can editing with "none editor" in frontend...

but i want disable html tag in front end editing in "none editor"

how can i do it?

thats my options, works in most cases. Not if tag-cloud on frontsite, so i dont use it there.

1. did not strip any tags confirmed.
2. word limit i leave the box blank
3. the category's k2 plugin is enabled for item and category

still did not get to appear on sub categories listing, only able to see in leading category and items listing only.Also tested that all plugin is not working at this part.

After a fight of 1 hour with SIGpro 2.5.7 and K2 2.6.6 on Joomla 2.5.11, I'm still wondering how can I make it work .

With any default image folder in SIGpro admin, when I try to upload a zipped folder with images in a K2 item, by the Image gallery tab, I get this message :
"There was a problem rendering your image gallery. Please make sure that the folder you are using in the Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin tags exists and contains valid image files. The plugin could not locate the folder: media/k2/galleries/2"

A lot of people have this problem, by I didn't find a solution in Google.
Could somebody explain me clearly how it works please ?

il problema che non riesco a risolvere è quello della visualizzazione di tutte le foto caricate nella gallery di K2.
Ho caricato le foto, assegnato la categoria, assegnato i tags ma quando apro il sito si visualizzano solamente 10 foto.
Non penso sia un limite di K2 ma non trovo la soluzione.
Qualcuno ha avuto o stesso problema?

Cuando voy a crear un ítem de menú, del tipo K2 -> Etiqueta, que no es más que crear un item de menú enlazado a una etiqueta en K2, (por supuesto esta etiqueta previamente creada), en el campo "seleccionar etiqueta" no sale nada, sale vacio. No carga las etiquetas que se crearon en k2. ¿Es esto un problema en K2?

Utilizo J!3.1.1 y la K2 2.6.6

Nota: Añado un imagen del campo, del item de menú.

I have a question about templating K2 that I have jus setup on my Joomla website. I have to say that I know little about CSS, PHP and all these languages. I managed rather easily to change colors, sizes, and all this stuff in the CSS, but I need to make a final change, which seems more complicated for that module to match exactly to my needs.

Everything I need now is to be able to display an image for each post of my blog, that would visually appear between the category and the item itself.
I tried both ways, but without success.
The first was to add new lines to create a new object, as category or tag, and place in it my picture. I did not succeed.
Then I thought it would be easier to change the category tag which I do not really need to show in it my picture, but I did not succeed either.

Could someone tell me the best way to do this or to give me a link to a step by step tutorial - for a person who really knows very little about computer languages !!!

I think you have to ask the Project Fork developers if the extension is K2 compatible. Unfortunately I have never used that extension and I cannot help you.

I have chosen to use K2 as the default article manager for the Joomla site i am developing because of its tagging capabilities (among other things of course).

I also have Projectfork installed on my Joomla site. I can add articles to any project I am creating in Projectfork. However, each time I try to add an article to my projects, it prompts me to pick from Joomla's native articles and not the ones I have created as K2 items. I want to be able to tag the articles I add to my projects. Therefore I have to be able to add K2 items to my projects!

Is there a way I can make Projectfork pick K2 items (articles) any time I choose to add articles to my project?

Oh I see,

As I told you this code is for the component view not the mod_k2_content. You can alter this code a bit and it should work.

You can use instead $params->get('itemTags') and $item-> instead of $this->item

If you have any doubts you can always open the default module template and view the original code.

could please add at least image and description support for tags ? Because as Joomla core, K2 doesn't support items in multiple categories which is in daily life more the case. There are plugins to enable multiple categories for items in K2 but they are all rubbish and do hacks of core files.

So in the pagination portion of K2 comments, you have "Start Prev 1 2 Next End" buttons.

Problem is, when i click on 2 to go to Page 2, the webpage reloads and starts at the top. You then have to scroll all the way down to the comments section to continue reading comments on Page 2. This is annoying to the user.

How do we put Anchors on these buttons, so that when a user clicks to navigate the pages, the page automatically scrolls to the start of the comments?

I can see that the anchor tag used by K2 is "itemCommentsAnchor". How do we add this anchor to the comments pagination buttons ???
