Voilà quelques interrogations concernant la fonction des Tags dans K2
Pour infos :
Version de k2 : K2 v2.4.1 (je ne peux pas mettre à jour car K2 v2.5 n'est pas compatible avec K2Mart)
Joomla 1.5

Pitch :
Mon site (www.nostendresannees.com) est une succession d'articles sur un tas d'artistes.
J'utilise les tags systématiquement dans K2 pour y mentionner les artistes présents dans l'article.
De cette manière, dans l'article, il est possible de trouver tous les articles en relation avec le(s) tag(s) entrés et trouver ainsi les autres articles sur chaque artiste.

Or, je me dis que ces Tags sont une formidable clé d'entrée sur ces Artistes.
En gros, j'aimerais créer une nouvelle rubrique dans la navigation principale "Artistes" qui renverraient vers une liste complète de tous les Tags (artistes).

Problème : le composant permet d'intégrer un lien dans la navigation mais avec UN SEUL tag.

Est-ce qu'il existe une solution qui permettrait ce genre de liste ?

This seems to be a recurring theme but it needs fixing.

When i upload a zip file to a k2 item under "image gallery" the item in both the front and back end will break diplaying a blank page until i disable the SigPro plug-in

why is this?

The same thing happens when i insert the sig pro gallery tags within any k2 content item

bin auch grad auf K2 umgestiegen und es macht richt spass, damit zu arbeiten. habe nun mein erstes projekt online gestellt. nun will der kunde änderungen machen via frontend. ok, soll mir recht sein. aber das frontend kommt mir so extrem unaufgeräumt daher. schwarzes auf dunkelgrauem grund. speichern ist auch kaum zu lesen.
meine frage nun, besteht die möglichkeit, dies alles per einfachen klick (wo gibt es dass schon B) ) auf neutral umzustellen?
ich verwende das template "extension" von mariuszboloz ak marbol2 :)

in etwa so sieht die frontendbearbeitung bei mir nun aus:



ich hätte am liebsten einen hellen, neutralen hintergrund, ohne den background aus dem template. oder einfach weiss. dann wäre alles behoben. wo könnte ich das ändern? finde es einfach nicht.

Hi hopefully simple questions.

Experienced joomla user not with K2 however.

1. Can you use K2 to create a listing site (yes I know) that agents can register an account and list their own properties?
(I dont want to use hotproperty for this)

2. What is the best search plugin for faceted (aka filtered) search? Im looking at Solr hopefully.

3. What plugins are required to make this work? At this stage I dont need to charge agents money if they want to list, they simply need to just create an account and list themselves.

4. What is the largest k2 site? Can it handle 500 000 + records?

I have a similar problem, also with sh404sef.

Every time I create a new article, the modules (on the right side in my case) doesn't show.
I have to manually tell sh404sef to add them (by writing correct url with itemid) each time. Sure, that works, but it's some job to do as it also means I have to add them to tags etc.

Has anyone had this problem?

Found this solution but I would rather find a solution without making changes in code (as it will disappear when I upgrade)

1. Go to modules/mod_k2_tools/tmpl/search.php

and add this line in front inside of some php:

$Itemid = JRequest::getInt( ‘Itemid’);

then on line 16 change this:

<form action=”<?php echo JRoute::_(‘index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&task=search’); ?>” method=”get”>

to:

<form action=”<?php echo JRoute::_(‘index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&task=search&Itemid=’.$Itemid); ?>” method=”get”>

2. Go to components/com_k2/helpers/route.php

on line 111 you see this:
$link = 'index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&task=tag&tag='.urlencode($tag);

if ($item = K2HelperRoute::_findItem($needles)) {
$link .= '&Itemid='.$item->id;
}
;

change it to this:
$link = 'index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&task=tag&tag='.urlencode($tag);

$Itemid = JRequest::getInt( 'Itemid');

$link .= '&Itemid='.$Itemid;

Hi,

I have just updated K2 to the latest release v2.5.4.
As I saw that the categories in this version also have metadata fields (keywords and description) i got going straight away.
However, i saw that instead of the new added meta tags, the source code of my category pages is still showing the global site meta tags (as it was in the K2 version I was running before (2.4.1))

Is this a known issue or is there anything I can do to get the appropriate meta tags to show?

I have been building my site for months now using K2 and today - when I almost finished - to my surprise I realized that K2 has been building a lot of duplicated URLs. The guys over at anything-digital said that it's a K2 issue and not a sh404SEF issue, which is cleary true.

First the damn tags are producing a duplicated URL every time an article has been posted with already an existend tag. This describes it pretty well .

This issue is not new to K2, related threads has been posted in the past with not so useful solutions.

It's very frustrating and sad that the official K2 developers haven't properly addressed this serious issue since years. At this point K2 is simply not SEO-friendly. If this issue won't be addressed this time, I'm afraid I have to say goodbye to K2 and write an appropriate review over at the extensions directory.
