Hi... it is quite simple...

What you need to do is to create a new style for the ul/li list. To find the proper ids and classes I've been using firefox or opera. in firefox select the list and view the source of selected items. You will see a part of HTML in may case:

<div id="k2ModuleBox146" class="k2CategoriesListBlock ">(... here is all the list with ul's and il's ...></div>
So what you need to do is to create a style for a div id=k2ModuleBox146 with ul and liOpen the k2 css style file and at the end of the file (it is cascade style so the last one is the one that overiddes the others, so at the end of the file i've created a tag:#k2ModuleBox146 ul{list-style: circle outside; color:green;} - it will change the bullets to green circles .... the rest they are just css properities.Hope it helps.Let me know :-)

If you go to the K2 admin, select the parent category, select the "Category view options" tab, click on Show radio button next to "Title" parameter.

Hi Fabyc, I have figures it out, go to your K2 settings and then move down to the options that says 'Content Cleanup Settings" and turn off 'Introtext HTML cleanup (tag strip)' and 'Fulltext HTML cleanup (tag strip)'.

Once you do this, you will be fine.

The k2 settings am talking about is actually called "Parameters", its located on the top right corner of the K2 page, am sure you know where it is.

The JoomSEF menu "Manage meta Tags" have 3 fields: "meta Title", "meta description", "meta keywords".

It is possible automatic input into these fields data from K2 articles|categories meta-fields "keywords" and "descriptions"?

 

I'm having problems with the template override... I need to remove the paragraph markup from before after the image as the template is trying to process the item image and intro text in one statement instead of separate ones. I have created a folder under my template folder with a copy/paste of the K2 BNR module name, and copied the default.php file into it. I have modified the php file so that it should no longer create the paragraph tag; however the template override is not being picked up... I have tried with multiple browsers with no luck... Can anyone offer some pointers to assist with this.

I have tried using all the patches and SVNs mentioned in this forum including

 

community.getk2.org/forum/topics/title-alias-instead-of-title

 

But still my K2 urls doesn't seem to work - they are using alias instead of title.

i have also attached the com_k2.php file i am using now.

 

and also my Tags are going to a 404 page.I think the K2 sh404sef plugin needs a serious look into

for ways to embed jwplayer into joomla articles or k2 items...

If you are doing that and the editor is stripping tags you may need to add some tags in the cleanup paramaters of k2

I cant recreate this now in SVN version :(

However I can confirm that we were using 2.4.1 and that the database had the same youtube tags on many articles in the  video column. If you can I suggest removing from db and testing with SVN version.

I can only get tagging working with Selection option not with Free Tagging option that I want to use. I have disables Mootools, I have K2 2.4.1. and I have cleared the Browser cache and I have cleared the site cache. Still the tags are disappearing in Item page where I try to choose tags.

 

What is wrong? Any ideas/help?

I'm using Joomla 1.5.23 with K2 v2.2. I've created a blog with K2 - just a page showing the

articles in category. I've enabled RSS for the category (showing the RSS icon), but for some

reason the links in the articles do not show up in the feed, just their description (the text

between the <a> </a> tags).

(as you can see in the feed I've sometimes put the actual link both in the href and

between the <a> </a> to get it included in the feed)

I am working on a site which has several mod_k2_content modules on the home page, Each lists 5 catagory items and a "For More Related Articles" link at the bottom. The "For More Related Articles" link is not working and is just a link to the root of the site;

I have tried changing the module's parameters by enabling Read More and Intro Text and setting Intro Text to 10 characters but that made no difference.

The modules are using the "titlelist" sub-template.

I found the code that displays the link in this file

modules/mod_k2_content/tmpl/titlelist/default.php

The links worked in the old K2 version 2.2 but after updating to 2.4 the links no longer work. I checked and both above mentioned default.php files from the two versions are the same.

 

Found this file that seems to be the problem;

In the K2 2.2 version this line, 234 is commented out;

I am new to web design and have just installed K2 however, when I look up joomfish I get a list of options. which one should I installs to get the best out of K2.

I am new to K2, but very exited about how it enhances joomla.

I am trying to build a product review site, naturally i extensively use the Extra fields feature.

The Only thing i am missing is to make the Extra Fields Clickable, so the user can easily sort and refine his prefered search by the product's specifications.

 

Is anyone know of a good solution to to make the EXTRA FIELDS be clickable just like the TAGS are?

 

 

 

 

Is it my imagination or has any further development of K2 been stopped.  I see questions on the board that go unanswered for months. 

 

My particular problem is that I want to be able to copy from my GMail on my Motorola Android Xoom and paste into the editor (NOT the HTML view) and have it retain its code.  When I try and long-press in the editor window, I don't get the pop-up menu on the xoom that will allow me to paste.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?  I would gladly pay for K2 if only I was assured that all my items can continue to take advantage of advances with Joomla.
