OK so I found this on the Joomla bug tracker - how would I implement this in K2?

Looks to be the identical problem but in Joomla core as well. I take it K2 doesn't use the file

templates/html/com_content/frontpage/default_item.php

to build pages?

Take a look at your CSS, the dots are actually bullets because you have a bunch of text wrapped in UL tags. Either remove them or set them to list-style-type: none;

Yeah I kinda gathered that but it only occurs using k2 category layout, but not front page blog layout.

Like I say it happens when turning on 'Read More' in K2.

What CSS rule will I need to tweak, HR? A certain type of HR? Would really appreciate a suggestion here, I'm pretty handy with CSS and troubleshooting - just not with K2 it's got a mind of it's own sometimes ;-)

I'm using J 1.5.22, K2 2.4.1 & sh404 release from last month. The only difference is that I'm using the updated sef_ext/com_k2.php from the SVN. Roll back your other changes from these other threads and try that...

I have been trying to make SH404SEF work with K2, and most is perfect, except the part of the tag that contain two or more words with spaces.I have tried the proposed fixes from community.getk2.org/forum/topics/spaces-and-dashes-k2-tags-and?xg_source=activity and community.getk2.org/forum/topics/sh404sef-plugin-for-k2-20?commentId=3536014%3AComment%3A13904&xg_source=activity but i had no luck. i am using K2 2.41 and the latest version of SH404sef. Please, help!

Check the k2 paramaters and hide image(avatar) there
The login is a module and is usually published in a template position.
publish it, click on the registar link, copy the url from the browzer
Create a k2 override, and edit item.php, find the comments block and insert an a href tag there with the registar url

Add the code where you want between the 'foreach' and 'endforeach' php code.

So just to make sure I'm understanding... You're on the item view of a K2 item that HAS an "item image" but the image isn't displayed. No, the fact that it isn't displayed shouldn't affect it. As long as the XS version of the image exists, it should work.

Did you check to see if the head tag of the page contained a link rel=image_src tag? Checking that doesn't require PHP knowledge.

Well actually i am not able to do this- i dont know php :(.. However i may tough of what could be problem.. in item view in my case, i am not displaying the thumbnail picture.. but only in categoryItemView (dose it have to be shown in item view as well?)
note: and yes we are talking about IN itemView

working on a site using K2. Everything is working fine, but the client doesn't like the 4 item links at the bottom of a catagory view list. They have no images and aren't listed as regular item on the next page in the pagination. I don't know if they are controled by K2 or the Rockettheme template. I got an error in the joomla menu manager * XML Parsing Error at 2:112. Error 7: mismatched tagIt only happen to K2 Categories and Items.I used K2 component for my articles post, I also using Gavick - Sporter templates.I do not know when this problem first occurred. I previously did not face this problems when using the menu manager.Please Help me..

i've installed Simple Gallery PRO.
I see it, i load image (ZIP file) in the K2 Article, but i can only see the title "GALLERY" (GALLERIA IMMAGINI in italian).
If i read the page code i see a ";nbsp; into the TAG of the gallery.

I've experienced several problem defining the correct root. The message was... not such directory now i've no more that problem.
But no image appears on my page.

The TMP folder has a 777 permission.
Inside the folder MEDIA/K2/GALLERIES i can find 2 folders 2 and 14 inside them there are the images...
i didn't copied those there so maybe the ZIP load has done that...
I've also tried to write {gallery}ORIGINALFOLDERNAME{/gallery} inside the article..... and also {gallery}2{/gallery}
The result is always the same...
