I have been using the joomla redirect plugin to fix my broken links and redirect them to new ones and I understood there are hundreds of urls which are k2 tag produced.
why k2 tags are being recorded by joomla redirect component?
Am I doing something wrong?
and it is like that in all my websites. once you start the redirect engine , it records all the tags. and those tags are all 404 pages.

If you are using a word limit, then HTML tags are being stripped.

You can use Joomla!'s API, setMataData() docs.joomla.org/Entering_search_engine_meta-data in your overrides so you can hardcode your own.

Unfortunately this is not how it works.
It will show tagged items which are written only by the specified user.
Since you need items from other users as well, you can leave the user option blank.

It is possible to disable and not to enter their keywords to disable?

I'm using the new version of K2 Content Module (2.7.1) and It's really good, I'm very happy that I found it.

I have a little problem: I noticed that when I add "tags" and "users" the module crosses the 2 instead of merging both. For instance: Tags (beer, wine) Users (Paul): the module will only show items that contain "beer" and "wine" written by "Paul".

But what I need right now is the module to show all items containing "beer" and "wine" (even if these are not written by "Paul") AND the ones written by "Paul" (even if these don't contain "beer" and "wine"). Is it possible?

The SEF settings are located in K2's advanced settings.
Furthermore since you created an empty K2 menu item towards categories, all orphan tags, users and date/ search listings will be rendered through that menu item.
If you are having multiple menu items with the same settings Joomla! will always use the first one it finds.

Hi, I got several questions to the K2 searchbox

1) In the Searxh Box Settings, there's an option called "Select menu" - what exactly does it do?

2) How can I stop the searchbox from searching through extrafields?

3) My website contain two large and different categories C1 (account) and C2 (uuid). C2 uses Tags, too. Since I wanted clean urls for the tags (which are only used in one of those categories) I made an empty menupoint "K2 » Item listings » Categories" like you recommended earlier. When I search for items in one category now, the search-url go through this url, too:
Tag: minecraft-heads.com/uuid/heads/var/tag/Egg
Search: minecraft-heads.com/uuid/heads/var/search?searchword=test&categories=1%2C2%2C5%2C8%2C9%2C10%2C11%2C12%2C13%2C15

I made one module which search through C2 - therefor, the result-url is just fine.

But I also would like to create a search module which search through C1 only - but this one creates the urls through this open menupoint, too.
That's quite bad because the url includes the name of the category C2 (uuid) while you search through the category C1 (account). Any creative idea how to fix that?
(Like binding the search to a certain menu point?)

In pratica il tag title di un articolo non viene impostato con il titolo dell'articolo stesso ma con quello della voce del menù che visualizza tutti gli articoli.
Uso k2 su vari siti ma è la prima volta che ho questo problema.

This is not an override issue. This is more likely an issue with ACESef

I have a pagination problem with the k2 tags (Without menu item) and the friendly URL component AceSEF.
Activating the amount of K2 tags to display and accessing a K2 tag that has pagination me appear the wrong URLs such as the following:

http://localhost/espademo/?start=5
http://localhost/espademo/?start=10
http://localhost/espademo/?start=15

The correct K2 Tag pagination for this URL would be like this:

http://localhost/espademo/tag/gps.html?start=5
http://localhost/espademo/tag/gps.html?start=10
http://localhost/espademo/tag/gps.html?start=15


What I find strange is that the pagination in the K2 categories and the Joomla categories work very good, but the pagination link changes with respawn to the K2 Tags. Next I leave the generated links and that if they paginate correctly.

I have read several topic here in the forum commenting that the K2 component uses the default Joomla pagination, but if it uses this pagination it is that it varies the pagination of the K2 Tags regarding the pagination of K2 or Joomla categories.
They could advise or advise me if this is a problem of the component that generates the URLs (in this case AceSEF) or is a problem of the K2 component or an override problem in my template.

You can override the tag.php and insert new classes (possibly a grid system like BootStrap or Foundation) in order to enforce the layout you want.
