Hi

I have embedded a few youtube videos on my site without any issues, but now am trying to embed one and all I see is a weird black rectangular box and no video.

I am not sure how to insert it on this forum, I would if I could.

The code I am using is as follows:

All video code snippet: {youtube}v=v_h_Ajtertk{/youtube}

YouTube Share link: youtu.be/v_h_Ajtertk

Embed code: <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="www.youtube.com/embed/v_h_Ajtertk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

I cannot see what is wrong with the extension "v_h_Ajtertk"

Am I doing something wrong or is this video in the wrong format?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

I have tried everything to get this working but it does not work.

I deleted the original video in you tube and uploaded it again, and changed the code snippet in the Joomla page, but I get the same issue.

The newest video is at www.youtube.com/watch?v=toRmkXs0yfk

The code snippet I insert into the web page is

{youtube}v=toRmkXs0yfk{/youtube}

I have attached a screen shot of the issue.

The YouTube video is working fine, it is just not showing in my Joomla site when I try to embed it.

I have embedded many other YouTube videos without any issues, I am baffled why this one is causing problems.

Can anyone help?

I also changed the format of the video from MP4 to AVI and uploaded again to yutube...

Still does not work.

The video link is now youtu.be/Lx9kk9RAlpA

The code snippet I am trying to use is {youtube}v=Lx9kk9RAlpA{/youtube}

I have given up.

Please can someone let me know what I can try to get this to work?

Thanks.

This is the code you should use:
{youtube}Lx9kk9RAlpA{/youtube}

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to embed a SWF file so I have tried:

{swf}children.swf{/swf}
{swf}children.swf|350|250{/swf}

And all I get is a black bar too. The plugin is activated cause it's finding it. Also the path in the plugin is correct for pulling swf files.

Check AllVideos documentation in order to correct your tags please.

Well there's really no "documentation" to speak of. There is one page: www.joomlaworks.net/content/view/16/42/

And there really is no additional information about linking to a SWF file, specifically. So if you know something I don't, I'd love for you to share.  ;D

Save your swf video -named children- inside Images/stories. Check that images/stories is the path in Allvideos plugin too.
{swf}children{/swf}.

If your swf video is  hosted on remote server check the documentation in order to see how the tags should be please.

Nope. That doesn't work either. In the plug-in, you get to pick what directory to pull from so that's not the issue either.
