Hello!

I have just downloaded, installed, and enabled AllVideos into our web site located at www.mjjcollectors.com  We are using Joomla v. 1.5.22, as well as VirtueMart (catalog only mode).  We would like to stream videos directly from our GoDaddy server (as opposed to going through YouTube).

What we want to make sure of is to set it up so that the videos that we upload are viewable ONLY to registered members (not guests) of our site.  Is there a way to configure AllVideos so that in order to play the videos, you have to be a registered member (ie: you click "play" and then it checks to see if you are logged in and registered before it will play).

I also would like to integrate AllVideos into our home page somehow.  Ideally, we can put the fully featured player somewhere on the home page.  Where can I find info on how we can easily set up and configure AllVideos (to minimize learning curves) so that it fits in with our existing web site's content?

Thanks, Ron

You could try enclosing your allvideos plugin string within a simple ACL plugin string.

Here's a link to the plugin, works pretty well. Not tested with AllVideos but I reckon it will work fine.
