The video player happened to just go away. One day it was there the next it is gone. I have installed & uninstalled and still no results. does any one have any idea why the player decided to take a vacation and not come back?

Are you sure that you didn't change anything that might have affected the player? Maybe the video pointing to the player is gone, perhaps?
