Hi,
When I embed a video with the K embed video function, this video overlaps my images from my Simple Image Gallery when these pictures are opened.
Any advise on this?

You will have to change the z-index of the video. Since, you have loaded it as embed you cannot do so, because it loads inside an iframe and you can't control that.
Your video is a youtube video. Why don't you try the video from provider option that gives you more access to the video itself so you can actually change whatever is necessary?

I Have tried to embed the video into my article as well (without using the K2 video function) but with the same results. The video from provider is not working at all...
If I embed in my article, can I change the Z-index and how to do this???

If the embed works either way, then the option from provider should work also. All you need to do is paste only the video ID, not all url.

Which embed code do you use inside the article? Do you use the {youtube}{/youtube} tags of the plugin?
