youtube video will not play on localhost was created by Frank Gillespie

I have tried to play a youtube video on my localhost design page but when i click on the play button it tells me "requested video not found". The video play ok on a live page?

Is this a joomla1.5 issue, allvideo or K2 issue? I have downloaded mod_jw_cc-1.1_j1.5.zip but nothing happens

Hope I am giving you the correct info (I am new to web design)

The live temp. web page is www.inpsc.com (the video on the front page works here)

My local host page is http://localhost/joomla15/ (The video does not owkr here)

Most likley i´d say you don´t have cUrl enabled or installed.

How do I check if I have cURL installed on my PC local host. I read some stuff on the internet and they pretty well all directed me baCk to my host provider. In the case of my localhost - I am the host provider! Do I have to look for some type of cosde in the php.ini file on the xampp?

Just checked my php.ini file and found the following
"extension=php_curl.dll" does this mean it is installed?

Sorry me again
I found an instruction on the web that told me to check for ;extension=php_curl.dll" and delete ";" to enable the cURL. I did, rebooted the PC and tried again - no difference - video still not found
