I just upgraded to version 4 on 2 sites running Joomla 1.5.23.

The {mp3}filename{/mp3} tags are now causing the video player to be displayed and with the default settings it is all squashed up.

Is this a bug or did I miss something?

Has there been any response to this? I was having the problem in 4.0, so went ahead and installed 4.1 -- the problem is still there. When using the mp3 tag, I get what appear to be duplicated players. A vimeo-like player stacked on top of another centered play button, and what looks like a watermark for a player (but the vimeo bar covers it, so I can't read it)

Edit: Ah. The watermark appears to say jwplayer.

Could you provide us a link to the page with the problem?

Only thing in the article is the mp3 tag.

Should also note that while the OP was using Joomla 1.5, the site I am testing on is running 1.7.2

Did you ever get a solution to this issue?  I am seeing the same thing on my web site Error #2032 when trying to play mp3 files.  All I can find in the forum is others with the same issue but never any solution.

A bit more information on this issue.  I found that if I clear my history and cache, I can then play my .flv files and my .mp3 files.  BUT, once the file has completely downloaded, then I refresh or reload the page, I can no longer play any files.  The mp3 files give me the 2032 error and the flv files I get the error "Video not found or access denied: /images/sermons/video/2011-12-18_W.flv or whatever the video file name is.  If I go back and clear my browser cache, I can once again play the files.  This behavior did not happen before upgrading All Videos from 3.3 to 4.1

Any ideas where I can fix this?

Did you ever find a solution to this?  I am looking for the same solution.  I need the player to play audio files and not videos.

Katia, my page is www.faithplano.org

I really have two problems here.  The first is that the player tries to look the same for either audio or video files whereas in the previous version I used (3.3) the players looked different.  I'm not a programmer but it looks to me like the code is calling out using a skin or overlay called bekle and that it's called out to look the same for either video or audio.  what I did to fix this is to copy the file sources.php (public_html/plugins/content/jw_allvideos/includes) from my site backup with 3.3 and replace the sources.php file from the 4.1 install.  Now my audio and video players look different like they used to.  I know this is a temporary fix but I had to do something as the support people here were on vacation.

The real problem I am having now is the history and cache problem I explained before.
