Hello all,
Just like so many before, I've run into the common dropdown menus getting hidden behind video problem.

Unfortunately, after a bit of searching, I can't find anything helpful for my particular instance.
I'm running Joomla 1.7 & AV4.0. I've got the "Flash/MP4/WebM/OGG Theora video player transparency" set to yes, but even still the video is shown on top of my dropdown menus.

I know this is supposed to be fixed by that wmode variable, but not sure where else to set it..

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance,
B

Hello,
Thanks for responding!

I apologize for the delay, but I was trying to work with the template builder on this as well, and they're saying its because wmode isn't getting set in transparent/opaque.

I did see this post, but unfortunately I tried adding it, but that didn't seem to help resolve my problem here. (as it seems the video is getting set as direct).

In the plugin settings, i see "Flash/MP4/WebM/OGG Theora video player transparency" set to yes. I thought this would have defaulted all {youtube} embed to use wmode=transparent, but is that not true?

When i put in my article's code {youtube}<URL>?wmode=opaque{/youtube}, then the display is fine, so this would also seem to confirm I'm not setting a "default" transparency.

What would I need to do to set this to default? (to make it easy on new employees to not have to be trained/instructed to add that ?wmode=opaque)

Thanks again!

Thanks in advance!
B
