I am using joomla1.5.24 , K2 and allvideos plugin v4.1
When i try to insert mp4 video to article using
{mp4}video.mp4{/mp4}  or the wideo is not display there is error code:
also not work with remote tag
(mp4remote}test.mp4{/mp4remote}

The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported: http://domainname/test.mp4undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined...

A added the mp4 format to joomla available extension, the default media folder is /media/k2/video.

Same problems here:  ???

First MP4 (H.264 Video) works on the website, but not on an android smartphone.

Second try as a F4V file don't work at website

Third try as FLV works on website and android smartphone (flash required), of course not on an iphone.

all files were rendered with adobe media encoder (after effects).

What i need is a solution (which i'm willing to buy) to play video files from my own server on my website and to smartphones/iphone/ipad.
Anyway, it would be great if you could tell me what i may have done wrong or which file format i should use.

Mp4 should be supported, It may be as simple as how you are inserting your code. Instead of {mp4}myvideo.mp4{/mp4} use {mp4}myvideo{/mp4}.

The difference is subtle but important - do not include the extension "mp4" in your video name.

I used the code {mp4}myvideo{/mp4}

We had the exact same problem a couple of days ago on J1.5. Pretty sure I had mp4 working before on another site but we couldn't get these ones working. Ended up changing to FLV in the end.
