I am using the Allvideos plugin in K2. I have found out how to add a poster image to a video if it is embedded into an article by placing the image in the same folder as the video. My problem is if I add media via the media tab in K2 I cant get a poster image to show. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

You can add this image manually in K2 Video/your video folder.

I have tried that both in Joomla images folder and k2 media folder. It works fine if I add the tags into an article but when I add media to k2 via the media tab the video works but no poster image.

When you add the image file into the media/k2/videos folder your file name is the same as the k2 article ID correct? This should technically work on uploaded items but if its a remote Video (link to a file not on the site) this doesn't work. (or at least I haven't found a way.)
