Hi,

I've installed and enabled the AllVideos 4.4 plugin and reset the local audio folder to images/sound.  The player is showing in my test article but the referenced mp3 file is not playing.  Any advice?  Thanks.

If you don't have a sound folder inside the images folder you just create it.
Upload the music file to the sound folder.

Check if the sound folder got the right permissions (755)

DON'T write a / in front of the default path like /images/sound.

If you got all this right you should be able to play your sound file?

Remember that not all browsers support all kinds of sound files.
If you use Internet Explorer you should be able to hear a mp3 file.

I've got the same problem but after trying these suggestions am still not able to play the audio file. 

in IE9 I get the error

The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported:

I am using Joomla 1.7 - allvideos 4.1

the code I'm using in the article is

{mp3}TheFileName|100|40|1{/mp3}

any help or pointers in the right direction will be gratefully received
