Not displaying video in Firefox was created by pete pantaz
Hi -
I am putting the finishing touches on a Pet Services site for a client. She has live webcam feeds so you can see your dog while away. Allvideos is working great in Chrome and Safari, but I am getting a missing plugin error in Firefox. The webcams are broadcasting as .mov so iphones can view the feeds. If I type the cam address into Firefox, it plays just fine. But when it loads on the page, I get the missing plugin error. Here is the code I am using:
{movremote}69.139.120.163:5050/3/{/movremote}
Any idea of how I can fix it so it works in Firefox?

Sure - you need to be logged in to see the cams. To log in, go to: chttp://redrovercomeover.com.s80289.gridserver.com/index.php/members
The user name and password are both "test"
Once you are logged in, here is the url: redrovercomeover.com.s80289.gridserver.com/index.php/the-yard
Thanks for your help!

Hello Katia sorry for jumping in here.
I have just added this version of Allvideo to Joomla 1.5.25 I thought it was ok but it won't play audio for me in Firefox it is ok in other browsers but most of our visitors use Firefox. I'm new to this and don't know how to sort it! You can find the problem on the home page but open it in Firefox if you are going to be able to help me. Thanks Katia and sorry for jumping in but it is a similar problem www.tcbfanclub.com
many thanks.

I was able to successfully run the AllVideo plugin within my web page after the following steps:
In Firefox, click on Tools then Add-ons then Plugins. At the top of the list there is a link "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" I found that my Shockwave player was not up to date; after updating the web page plays the video as embedded in the page. ;D
