Great plugin! I've just installed the latest version in J2.5.1 and it's working fine - except that when the video's not playing, the plugin displays a blank (black) screen.

Is it possible to display a thumbnail with an appropriate image or still from the video?

Just insert the image you want inside the video folder via the Joomla Media Manager.

I did that, but it didn't work: still black screen. I got round the problem by uploading the video to Youtube and changing the tag within the article to pull it from there instead - now it uses the thumbnail from Youtube, which is fine.

I still have some projects coming up though, so it would be great if I could figure out how to make it work. I presume that the image file has to have the same name as the video but with a .jpg extension? Do the dimensions have to be the same as the video too? And does it work with all video file formats?
