Hello.

I am a newbie to Joomla - and have successfully installed the free version of allvideos 4.4 on a virgin 2.5.1 joomla installation.

Right now I am playing around with various components trying to identify the ones I really need. I do not have a working site yet - so dont ask for a link ;) I have included a screenshot that sould make clear what my problem is:


In all browsers I use: firefox, chrome, safari, dragon I have the same problem that under the video player there is a second black frame together with a short piece of code. The video itself plays just perfectly.

I have tried several player sizes - obviously with no success at all.
I have tried some different templates - same.

The effect is the same on a blank new article as well as on a sample data article.

The funny thing is: If I use K2 together with allvideos: This second frame is not there. Display is just as it is supposed to be.

Can anyone give me a hint where to look at? Maybe point me to a location in forum where the same problem was already discussed - and solved? (Searching the forum I found two instanced of the same problem, however no sollution to the problem. )

I'm not great at this, but maybe you can use some of it until a better answer is coming up ;)

I would start to look how the source code looks (depending on which editor you use you can find a "toggle to source code"-button inside the editor) and remove the extra code, but also look for some kind of "extra insert" of the AVs code.

The piece of code don't come there by itself, and I'm also pretty sure that it is not from AllVideos.

How do you put in the settings for AVs? Pasting? Could it be that..?

Also - if you play around with different players for the moment, try to remove (or unpublish) all other players for the moment until you find out of more..

I don't know of K2 so all blank on that one so far ;)
