Have seen this issue here a number of times, but the two cures do not work for me

Performance Parameters
Compress player JS scripts using PHP is set to YES

and can't find a copy of the previous version.

We are in Joomla 1.7, have set the file path in the Plugin to images/stories/videos
My file (Lainie.mp4 and .mov) are in images/stories/videos/IWMTS
I set the link on the page to {mov}IWMTS/Lainie{/mov} - I get the player displayed but with [no video] showing
If I set it to the mp4 format I get:

"The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported: www.m17.com.au/images/stories/videos/IWMTS/Lainie.mp4"

I have checked the permsissions in the folders on the server, they are owned by apache and set to 755
When I look at the source code of the generated html page the path to the video looks correct.

Not sure what else to check, if I use YouTube it works fine
