im currently building a blog site for a client.

The site is running joomla 2.5.4, using k2 2.5.6 and is using the allvideo plugin on k2.

When i add an mp3 to an item in k2 using the allvideo plugin, this seems fine, and when you are within the single item view, the mp3 player works fine and the mp3 plays. However on the front page I have a k2 content module that shows recent items, including items with mp3's, and when you click on the play button on the player when on the front page of the website, nothing plays.

The client is ideally wanting these files to be playable from the home page, and not having to click through to the actual item view in order to hear them.

Any help would be hugely appreciated, have looked over the settings several times and I cant see anything obvious that im missing.

ive now resolved the issue by including the mp3's within the article using the {mp3}{/mp3} tag.

please note though that there is still an issue with playing mp3's in a k2 content module when you add the mp3 as a media item. Maybe something to put on a bug list? it would be great to see this working properly as then it makes it much easier for 'non tech' end users to add their own mp3s to items
