Hello,

I'm new to the forum, and I'm trying to get my new site based on Joomla 2.5 going, and really wanted to use Allvideos. I've installed it twice, both times successfully, but the Allvideos menu is NO WHERE to be found in my article manager....

Any know how to fix this?

Not sure I understand what you are looking for. In Joomla you would go to the administration site, click on Extensions/Plug-in Manager. There you would find the plug-in for AllVideos. Make sure it is enabled. Some key parameters to pick are where your videos and audio files will be. For example: images/videos.

Let's say you have a video in images/videos called myvideo1.flv. To put it in an article simply write in the article where you want it:

{flv}myvideo1{/flv}

In another example, maybe you have a subfolder: images/videos/travel and in the travel folder you have mytrip.flv. Now write:

{flv}travel/mytrip{/flv}

You can also specify a size and whether or not is should auto play.

{flv}myvideo1|640|360|0{/flv} for example sets the player size to 640 px x 360px and it doesn't play automatically.

{flv}myvideo1|640|360|1{/flv} for example sets the player size to 640 px x 360px and it plays automatically.

Is that what you are looking for?
