Hi,

I will launch a video website soon and I was wondering if it's possible ot make the video impossible to download, but yet playable in Allvideos (probably version 3)

Is there a way to do that? I prefer using FLV, but is WMV with DRM the only way ? if so, how to apply DRM ?

This is not possible. If the browser can play the video, then you can find the source, no matter what...

Unless of course you make a new Flash Player for FLVs and use weird parameters to "hide" the source. Even then, the expert eye will find the true video source. ;)

Although not a perfect solution, would it be possible to hide the source video link within the CMS database and have it called by some code instead, thereby obscuring the source (that being videos hosted on own server)?

Not great security, but could possible limit coping of content.
