I have an flv video on the home page that plays okay on all browsers, but when I place a mp4 version of the same video on the site it plays okay in Firefox, but just appears as a black box in IE & Chrome (all latest versions of browsers).

And when I load up a wmv file a message comes up saying something like 'download silverlight'!?

Can anyone help?

Video not found. Access Denied. is the message one see on Firefox which means that you have problem in all browsers. Check your video path again please.

The path is correct, I CAN actually see it in Firefox. My problem is that I can't see it in other browsers  ???

Use just flv format if it's plays okay .
I watch the video in all browsers and it's okay .

I've got the same problem.
In Firefox and Google Chrome I've got no problem.
In IE I keep getting an error.

I tried a .avi file but that didn't work at all.
Even in chrome I couldn't play the file.

MP4 is natively supported by Google Chrome, so the player is switching to full "HTML5 mode". In that mode, going full-screen means covering the entire browser viewport and not extending to the entire screen. This doesn't happen with Firefox, as the player falls back to "Flash mode"... Safari playback is HTML5 too but Safari has a different playback behaviour to Chrome. In any case, it's no bug...
