I'm runnning Joomla 3.1.5 and have created a custom HTML module for videos which is only displaying the links as text.

Videos Module is at the bottom in the middle:
www.davidpheonix.com/new-site/

The exact same formatting works fine in an article:
www.davidpheonix.com/new-site/index.php/david-pheonix-personal-blog/6-video-test

I have tried using both the shortened and full length url. The current format is full length:
{youtube}www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlVi0noRr-o{/youtube}
{vimeo}vimeo.com/75809732{/vimeo}

Anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong?

You need to Enable the Option "Prepare content" under Basic options of the Custom HTML module.
