I am a newbie and I already read the instructions for using AllVideos Plugin. My question is about player templates that can I use with the plugin. I want to publish a player say in user1 section of my template. It will also be nice if the player will have tabs to select videos from a list...
Can anyone tell me if they have succeeded in using the component that way?

It's not a component, it's a plugin to insert videos in your content article.

the best thing to do, would be to make a custom component under joomla and use the combination of tabs/slides in contents (joomlaworks extension) and on every tab place a video called upon with allvideos mambot....

for example :

{tab=Video 1}
{flv}video1{/flv}
{tab=Video 2}
{flv}video2{/flv}
...
{/tabs}

I have done that also, and I have used a module called Contentitem which puts a content article in a module position.
