I to could really use the autoplay function for some video as well.  I understand the performance risk and wonder if having a youtube type screen that informs the user to click is possible compromise over the standard black screen.

Examples to show what I mean

www.gomeagan.com has the mambot and a link to a youtube video.  you can see the first clip and the play type button on the image at least giving indication that an action is required.

www.playlikeagirlsports.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=229&Itemid=64 has video embedded with same mambot but video is included using {wmvremote} and the screen is black not really giving indication of what the user is todo.

after the youtube video id just add &autoplay=1
that's it

i don't know if it work on google, dailymotion  and other video website

So how can autoplay be implemented with a wmv file? (both local and remote)

I have the opposite problem, all my local flv and swf files auto play and I don't want them too.

Any soloutions?

Same problem here- autoplay was turned on,but when I turned it off, my vids still autoplay.

As far as I have worked out so far is that if you insert a .flv then all videos pluggin will chuck a player around it.

great... well not that great as the player is 4:3 therefore it will compress and distort a 16:9 film (which I use)

If you change the settings of the pluggin to make it the dimensions of 16:9 the stage will change but the actual video stays distorted as 4:3

I thought I would try and change my aspect ration an export a 4:3 version letterboxed.. but that didn't work either.

Still would love someone to give us a good solution, maybe version 3???
