I installed the AllVideo Plugin on my site...and everything worked, as so it seemed. Then a few of my members reported getting the following messages in an info bar.

"This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Windows Media Player' from 'Microsoft Corporation'. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here...

"This website wants to run the following add-on: 'QuickTimeCheck Scriptable Object' from 'Apple Computer Inc. (unverified publisher)'. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here...

Are the messages from the plugin? What is the cause? How do I fix it, or advise them to fix it? What exactly is it (just so I can learn).

Any assistance is appreciated, and thank you in advance  :D

Haven't tried to embed anything yet...just installed the plugin, and then a few members advised me they where getting the info bar. May not have anything to do with the plugin...just a coincedence? That's why I was inquiring...could it have anything to do with the plugin? Is there anything in the plugin that would, could, or might cause this?

It is something related to QuickTime or Windows Media Player that need to be installed. Nothing dangerous by installing these.

As I said earlier, this surfaced when I installed the AllVideo Plugin and so my first inclination was that the plugin had something to do with it. Well, turns out is was just a coinsidence.

It has to do with IE&, IE6, Adsense (maybe) and PNG files (maybe).

ReInstall QuickTime seems to solve the problem.
MediaPlayer, seems to resolve itself when IE updated itself. (Think maybe M$ has something against apple?)

Anyway...problem has NOTHING to do with AllVideo  :D
