Here is my plan for videos using the allvideos plugin.

I will have a menu link that is a blog category list.  I will think add content that has a high resolution and a low resolution video on the content page using allvideo.

If I'm seeing everything right when the content page is loaded both videos are loading.  I was hoping that it wouldn't start to download the image until the person hits the desired play button in allvideo (low res or high res).  I want to do this so people with slow internet connections don't have to wait for the high res version to download.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to accomplish this?
