That has to be the funniest line I have heard all day! LOL!
I think that he has given up on the project. Go with AllVideos Reloaded, it works like a charm and I have had ZERO problems with it . . . . . oh, and it's been out "within a week of the release of Joomla 1.5.0" ;-)

I think you guys are being unfair. AllVideos is a FREE plugin, one of many actually. When or if it comes out is up to the good will of Joomlaworks.

Yes, perhaps we are being unfair, and yes it is free.  I think that the reason that we are being a bit sarcastic in our statements at this point is because it was tauted big time that this plugin would available within a week of the release of Joomla 1.5, and that was how many months ago?
Some of us actually waited to port over to 1.5 from 1.0 solely because we were told in these forums that it would be ported over within a week.
Weeks passed. Then months. Then AllVideos Reloaded came out, and it has been great.
Are we (ok, was I), upset a bit by this "promise"? Yes, I was, because I delayed implementation solely due to this promise.
It's not a matter of working on it, it's a matter of priorities that he has, which is fine, really. We just feel like we were "lead on".
No worries. I found a solution that is working just great.

				Hey everyone,
we're releasing today AllVideos 2.5 which supports both Joomla! 1.0 and 1.5 natively and additionally:
- introduces new video providers, such as Veoh, Brightcove, Dailymotion, Myspace, ESPN and many more popular video sharing sites that were not previously present on AllVideos
- the plugin is written from scratch for ultimate performance. Only 1 query is executed to the database no matter how many videos you got on.
- all video embed codes are all XHTML valid
- Windows Media playback is now done using Silverlight (Microsoft's "Flash" alternative)
- Updated the flash player for FLVs and MP3s
- You can now have custom width and height per video using a syntax like: {youtube}73jd83ke|600|450{/youtube}, where 600 is 600px width and 450 is 450px height for the player.
- The plugin parameters have been significantly simplified.
- DIVX support introduced (and Real Media, MPEG dropped)
- The plugin supports CSS templates now, we've added 2 basic ones, more will come later on.
- Fixed Yahoo and Gametrailers embed codes.
The plugin is fully compatible with existing videos embedded in your Joomla site using previous versions.
Detailed documentation will be up within the day.
