Just installed version 2.5.3 and .wmv files is not working, remote and local, on FF2 and IE7. Everything is ok with local .flv files, youtube and other services. Any solution?

I have exactly the same issue.
Even when I look at the HTML code generated for the page, it is all there ready to play the file, but it doesnt.

Nobody with a solution?  :'(

i'm having problems with both wmv and wma... please... does anyone know what is going on? mp3 works fine.

I don't like the fact that you have to install Silverlight with the latest version. 

Some of my website users are like 80 years old I don't think they're gonna' be savy enough to install it.  (Or even know what to do.)

Is there a way to embed a WMV file like the old version did?  I know it's "less smooth" but I liked the fact that it jsut worked without any additional plug-ins needed.

are users and MUST install something they probably don't know about

my videos are scattering, the movie and the sound.

im having an issue with wma which i suspect is same issue wmv is having. wont work on Opera or IE7. I have silverlight installed. Checked source, its looking in right spot.. ?? nada
