I saw in another thread in this topic that you specify a .jpg file for the preview image.. I had AVP v2.4 installed and it showed preview images from .png files, but v2.5 does not display them.  Thoughts?  Thanks!

Ever get it solved? I would like to show an image in the video player before play is pressed..

I've not gotten it to work.  Some say that it will work with a .jpg rather than .png, but I cannot get the preview image to work at all.  Still waiting for a response..

I read that it will be available as a feature of version 2.6, but not sure when that is going to be released and can't seem to find a similar hack for 1.5 that existed for the older version  :(
