Followed instructions, still says video can't be found -- please help was created by dmag

Running Joomla 1.0 site, newest version All Videos Plugin.
I installed the plugin and did nothing else besides hit "publish." No changes to parameters.
I placed FLV file in the videos folder, and also uploaded one to my video storage on Amazon S3.
Then I followed the format exactly as shown to place the All Videos tag in the article.
First, the one for the video, then the one for the S3 storage video. Then saved.
The players came up correctly but when I clicked each to play the video I got a message that the videos could not be found.
I checked the file paths and both are exact, and correct.
Is there a setting somewhere in the plugin that has to be changed?
All directions were followed exactly as given.
I'd appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks.

I'd like to know if you ever got the Amazon S3 service working? I'm also on Joomla 1.0, and would like to have the videos hosted on Amazon.
I sent JoomlaWorks an e-mail, but never got a reply.
Can we get some support, JoomlaWorks?

S3 has had a couple of hiccups since I've been on it, but you can't beat the fact that videos don't have buffering issues and play just fine.
I re-did everything from scratch on the paths and it finally worked. Maybe I had a digit out of place. Don't know.
As for Joomlaworks and service, this is the second time I've tried to get answers on problems and find the same thing you have -- that support is lacking. Maybe it's a very small staff, who knows?
That said, it's the reason that I haven't yet bought anything from them. I'm not a Joomla coder or techie and almost all software these days requires some help, regardless of how simple the coders think it is.
Documentation is not usually written for new or average users in mind, and putting up forums as a no-cost/low-cost substitute for tech support is woeful. I, for one, don't have time to spend hours trying to dig up an answer. Or wait days/weeks for someone to respond.
There's got to be a better way to do this, but this painful model has now been in place for years and I don't expect it to change anytime soon.

dmag, thank you for the response. Would you be able to share the code you use to make it work? Are you using the remote AllVideos tag? I have not signed up with S3 yet, because I wanted to make sure it worked first. It helps knowing you have it working. The pricing at S3 sounds more than fair. Any other advice would be much appreciated.
